Is no news, good news?

It’s been quiet in the world of the Chicago Fire. They had their first week off from training last week for the first time since connecting with one another during preseason.  The players were happy to have this time off to recharge and many of them had the opportunity to visit with their families. Hopefully, the week of rest and relaxation will show in training this week, leading into their Open Cup match against Indy Eleven.

The middle third of their season starts on Wednesday, June 15 at Toyota Park when their road for the 2016 U.S. Open Cup begins.

Today the Chicago Red Stars face off against Sky Blue FC at Toyota Park. The Red Stars are on the hunt for their fifth win in their seventh game of the season, while Sky Blue are looking to bounce back after having five goals scored against them in their previous match.
